CARDIFF WILDCATS VOLLEY BALL CLUB 

A New and Exciting Volleyball club in Cardiff ! ! !

Cardiff Wildcats Volleyball Club was formed in 2005, primarily as a womens club, but a year later the mens team was formed.

The teams first entered the Gloucester Volleyball league in Div 2 and had a thoroughly exciting time playing their first fixtures.  The men had considerable success winning Div 2 in their first season and being promoted to Div 1.

It was decided however that for the 2007 /08 season we wanted a fresh challenge and entered the South West Volleyball Association league, where competition was much tougher, and even though results were not on our side both teams gave a creditable account and are relishing playing again next season. 

This year are senior men's side are again entering South West Div1, whilst our latest men's team will be entering the Gloucester League.

This season we have a completley new ladies team, who are extremely keen to develop and it will not be long before they are reaching the dizzy heights of competitive volleyball. 

We consider ourselves to be a very sociable bunch of players who regulary go out as a team, whether to the pub, out on birthday bashes or arranging some crazy evening somewhere ! 

We play primarily indoor volleyball, but during the summer we knock about on the beach or on a field.  If we are not doing that we enter as many tournaments as possible wherever they may be.

We actively encourage new players to come along and train with us and we gurantee that you will enjoy yourself (albeit you might get a bit of a sweat on !)
